TIME AFTER ISLAND TIME RADIO

Since it's birth on Jimmy Buffett's Radio Margaritaville on October 13, 2003, Time After Island Time (or "TAIT" as it is affectionately called by listeners) traveled the song lines that only dreamers see. In November of 2008 TAIT RADIO was bestowed the honor of winning Best Radio Show of The Year at The First Annual Trop Rock Music Awards. Every week a new guest was interviewed and new music was explored. Guests included such artist's as Fats Domino, Woody Allen, Jeff Bridges, Derek Trucks,  J.D Souther, Michael McDonald, Irving Burgie, Ralph McDonald, The Mighty Sparrow, Little Feat, Don Brewer, Bruce Kulick, Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, The Zac Brown Band and many, many more inspiring entertainers and artists.

In April of 2010 after 6 and a half years on the air, TAIT decided to call it a day. In it's wake "The Paul Leslie Hour" was born. TPLH takes over where TAIT left off with our never ending search to interview and document the finest artist's of our time.

THE ATLANTA TROP ROCK ALLIANCE

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_192634430762167

 atlantatra@yahoo.com

The Atlanta Trop Rock Alliance is a group dedicated to promoting and supporting (mostly) independent recording artists whose musical repertoire usually includes songs about beaches, bars and boats and/or the general attitude of some sort of emotional, mental or physical escapism”.

The Atlanta Trop Rock Alliance was started one night by three fans (and friends) at the appropriately named Hemingways Bar and Grille, in Marietta ,Georgia. Jeff Pike, Dawn Brys, and Fred McFarlin. The three had often discussed their affinity for the music and their disappointment in not being able to see their favorite artists play without having to drive outside the state. So, they decided to do something about it and started The Atlanta Trop Rock Alliance

What do you need to be a member of the “Trop Rock Alliance”? Liking the music – or wanting to learn more about it - is a good start. But, we want people who will do more than just “like” it. We want people who will actively help promote it, including supporting the artists. How can you do that? By hosting or helping to organize and promote “house concerts”, helping to identify new venues for artists to play, offering hospitality, and attending shows. It’s all about the music, so you can also help spread the word about new CD releases. Any way you can help “promote and support” the music and the artists who perform it.

Questions? Email us at atlantatra@yahoo.com. We look forward to hearing from you! The Atlanta Trop Rock Alliance
